MariachiPorVida.com is the globalized, online version of the San Marcos Mariachi Academy. The San Marcos Mariachi Academy is a dual company serving as a school of music and a store for Mariachi and Ballet Folklorico Uniforms and supplies. The company is run and owned by Armida Medrano and Frank De Leon.
The school has acquired prestige and draws students from San Antonio, Lockhart, Seguin, San Marcos, Wimberley, Kyle, Austin and even as far as Uvalde, TX. The Mariachi Academy works with in excess of 50 students on a weekly basis and up to 80 during a two week summer camp. Since it’s inception, other music schools have followed suit with a focus on Mariachi. Mr. De Leon is also available as a consultant and will visit your school or group for a clinic.
The San Marcos Mariachi Academy has traveled throughout Mexico in an unending quest to find the best in quality and the most competitive prices for the products they sell. As a performing Mariachi musician, Mr. De Leon gives his approval for all products sold and assures that the prices are to the advantage of the consumer.
